Building the Skills of the Future
Lorna M. White, a Texas native, “loves to learn”. She graduated from public high school and enrolled in college at the age of 16, and has been on a continuous journey of learning, seeking, understanding and more. She attended College of the Mainland and University of Texas, San Antonio. In 1987, the Lord called her to the mission field. She joined the International Missions Team of the Church of God In Christ, Inc. She obtained hands on experience teaching the word of God in both English and Spanish in very remote and obscure areas on the mission field– areas in which hot water was a luxury and food and clothing were sparse – but a hunger for the word of God was rich! After completion of this missionary assignment, she later relocated to Memphis, Tennessee where she became an active member of Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ under the late, former Presiding Bishop J.O. Patterson. It was here where she received formal training as a Missionary and an Armor Bearer through the Pentecostal Institution, a subsidiary of Pentecostal Temple Church of God In Christ.
After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia in 1989, she continued to minister to women who were battling bondages and strongholds. As a proponent of empowerment for women, she is the former Executive Director of Women 4 Victory Women’s Ministry. She is the Executive Facilitator and Host of “Soothing The Soul”, an Annual Tea Party for women only; she is the Chief Warrior of ”Call to the Wall” an annual prayer service; and she hosts an annual Women’s Wellness event, extended throughout the month of September. This is when WE see about one another and ourselves (includes a 5K, free HIV testing, preliminary discussions on Heart Health, Breast Cancer, Sickle Cell, Lupus, MS and many other common diseases) so that WE CAN BE OUR BEST SELF!
She is the founder and CEO of Reflections Change, where we build, equip and support YOU for a BETTER TOMORROW!! When you look in the mirror and see your battle scars, just know that Reflections Change!! Who you were is not who you have to be!! This is not about erasing your past but embracing your past and knowing that God loves you and can still use YOU for His Glory!!
She has two sons, Tony Jr. (a beautiful daughter-in-law, Erica) and Nicholas Chase, a Senior in high school.
She is an anointed woman of God, who has been chosen by God for “such a time as this.”
